Fire Rated Glass Partitions
Fire ratings of 30/0, 30/30, 60/0 or 60/60 available. Ratings are based on two key principles:
Fire Integrity – This aspect pertains to the partition’s capability to act as a barrier against fire progression, effectively reducing the transmission of smoke and hazardous gases from one side to the other.
Fire Insulation – This feature involves the partition’s ability to resist the passage of smoke and heat through the glass pane, enabling it to withstand elevated temperatures.
These characteristics are quantified in terms of minutes of integrity/insulation. For instance, a rating of 30/30 indicates that the partition offers 30 minutes of both integrity and insulation.
